'A Walk in the Fields' by Andy Walters

This impressionistic oil-on-canvas depicts a couple walking in the early autumn sun; they skirt along the edge of a field on the cusp of harvest, with trees ready to shift from green to brown.

Started en plein air in Northamptonshire's Welland Valley, Andy Walters later finished this painting in his Stokes Croft (Bristol) studio.
